JUN 26 - Chinese official coming
KATHMANDU: Ai Ping, considered the point person in the Communist Party of China on South Asian affairs, is set to arrive in Kathmandu later this week to assess the political situation here. Ai is vice-minister at the International Department of the Central Committee of the CPC.

doing the rounds, some leaders of the CPN-UML, the second largest opposition party in the dissolved Constituent Assembly (CA), are mulling whether to field influential party leader KP Sharma Oli as the prime ministerial candidate.
