Flu infection ruled out

KAVRE, NOV 19 - Epidemiology and Disease Control Division on Thursday confirmed that students of Adarsa High School of Kavre, who were suspected of swine flu, were tested negative.
It further said that cause of the illness was food poisoning instead. The test was carried out after a 10th grader Deepa Shrestha, 17, died and 15 others were taken ill while returning home after the 6-day educational tour in Chitwan on Wednesday.
“The cause of her death, however, is unknown since the body was not brought to the hospital,” Teku Hospital said.
