DOHA (QATAR), NOV 19 - Manpower agencies have outnumbered agents in swindling foreign job aspirants and sending them abroad producing fake documents.

As per the data available at the Nepalese Embassy in Doha, 196 manpower agencies were found involved in sending foreign job aspirants by producing fake documents.

They were found taking more money, providing fake visa, changing passport and not providing job as per their agreement.

Similarly, 191 manpower agents were found guilty for the same. The embassy collected the list of those manpower agencies and agents who were found guilty while sending employees to Qatar between Jan. 2008 to Oct. 2009.

The embassy has recommended authorities concerned in Nepal to take necessary legal action against those agencies and agents.

“We have mailed the detailed of those manpower agencies and agents to Rajan Bhattarai, the foreign affairs advisor to Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal,” said Ramkaji Khadka, the first secretary at the embassy.

Prime Minister Nepal asked the embassy to send the name list when he was in Doha while returning from the United States.
