There were nearly 1000 people were attending a programme at the hall when the fire broke out.

KATHMANDU, NOV 07 - A fire broke out inside the Academy Hall in Kamaladi, packed with audience, Saturday afternoon.

There were nearly 1000 people were attending a programme at the hall, when the fire started from the curtains at the stage at around 2:30 this afternoon.

It took half an hour to control the fire with the help of fire brigade, police said. None has been injured.
