Scorpion sting kills two in Sindhuli

SINDHULI, SEP 16 - Two children have died in the district on Tuesday night after being stung by scorpions.

Ganesh Rai, 16, resident of Mahendrajhyadi VDC-1, and Bimala Bishwakarma, 14, of Peepalmadhi VDC-2 were stung by the venomous arachnids on the bank of river near the village yesterday afternoon, according to Bishal Rai, a local.

They breathed their last at the health post in the village while undergoing treatment, Rai informed.
