Kantipur Report

KATHMANDU, Jan 9 - .The 12th edition of Education and Book Fair is underway from Friday at Bhrikuti Mandap in the capital with the objective to make educational resources accessible to the public.

Famous Bolloywood actor Dev Anand, who arrived in the country yesterday to re-launch his book “Romancing with Life” during the fair, is the main attraction of the programme.

Dev Anand’s book is being re-launched tomorrow through the fair.

“My book is that of a man who spent so many years in show business. It is the story of struggle of someone who came to Bombay with nothing in his pocket. I want every Nepalese who knows English language to read the book,” said Anand.

22 national and 18 international publications have set up their stalls in the fair. Furthermore, the fair is also showcasing stalls from 90 national and international educational institutions..
