Review summary of the whole album-

As a whole, the album “Feel” is a well worked out album with good music, composition and songs. It has succeeded to show how simple songs can be well enhanced by using different vocal techniques and mellow dispositions.

1.Cham Cham
The song starts with exotic and oriental sounds but then fails to justify them. The singer’s pleasant voice adds more effect on the melody of the song but technically he could have done more. Nevertheless, the song fulfills the necessary requirements needed for the listeners.

2. Namuna
This song is a combination of Nepali pop and modern music blended well with modern melody. Though some exaggerations can be heard in the melody, the lyrical beauty and efficient singing makes the song pleasant. The singer sounds a little different with his tone and the clarity in his tone is missing in some places.

3.Ansu
The song is melancholy and sad which can be regarded as Mingma’s style. A good maintenance of his voice can be heard but nothing new is offered. There is excessive use of synchs or sample sounds and it would be good if he chooses not to sing in high pitches or sing only after practicing them well.

4.Kasari
The song begins very well and the singer shows that he can perform the compositions of harmony and variations quite well but somewhere in the verse, he fails to justify them well. The song is lyrically not so rich and melody seems a little complex and therefore the song might fail to gain much public attention.

5.Ke Lekhu
The song is a fast, techno type and romantic with simple melody. The lyrics “Ke lekhu,ke lekhu” sung at the beginning sounds like African oriental sounds, also because the singer has pronounced it differently. The lyrics means, “What to write?” Although it is noticed that he has worked hard, it would be better for him if he does not concentrate on this type of songs.

6.Kanchi (FanFani)
The song is a blend of folk and pop music. It is very simple and one can feel the unsatisfactory authenticity of folk music. This type of songs suit Mingma very well. However, it lacks the required orchestration.

7. Thaha Chaina
The song is well composed and well sung with frequently heard melody. Technically, it is very tough to change the mode of such melody in music. Mingma’s performance in this song is highly skillful.

8. Aago pani
The song is a fast and foot tapping number with modern sounds and good variations. This song proves that good lyrics can adjust anywhere. The repeated verse, “Uh!Woh!” in the song makes it more catchy and peppy.

9.Bhumari
The song contains a good melody that blends well with modern Hip-hop. The singer has not explored the higher register of his voice and he sounds smooth.
