Gorkha Brewery officially launched a 330-ml bottle of its popular Carlsberg Beer amid a programme in Kathmandu on Friday. The new pack comes as a line extension to the existing 650-ml Carlsberg bottle.
The new Carlsberg 330 ml comes in a unique embossed green bottle and guarantees to deliver the same quality and taste of the brand, the company said in a statement. It’s available in 24-pack size cartons. The pint-sized bottle was jointly unveiled by Surendra Silwal, director-finance; Paul Olivier Claudepierre, director-marketing; Ashish Bista, national sales director; Balaji Reddipali, director-customer supply chain; and Rojan Amatya, manager-brand marketing, of Gorkha Brewery.
“It is a moment of great pleasure for all of us to be able to introduce Carlsberg 330ml bottle, the first of its kind in Nepal,” said Claudepierre, addressing the guests. “We believe with the introduction of this international size bottle, it will add value to the brand and, at the same time, it will play major role when it comes to delivering premium taste to all our consumers.”
The company said the launch of the new Carlsberg bottle would help meet the consumers’ needs in different moments of consumption.
The statement added that the introduction of the new 330ml bottle would further enhance the premium beer drinking experience to consumers and help create new moments of consumptions to build and maintain the premium category.
