Koirala congratulates Nepali cricket team

KATHMANDU, SEP 10 - Nepali Congress (NC) President Sushil Koirala has congratulate d the Nepali Cricket team for winning the ICC World Cricket League Division Four championship.
Nepal had won the tournament on Monday defeating USA by eight wickets in the finals played at Kinrara Academy Oval of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
Releasing a press release today, Koirala extended his congratulations to all the players. Koirala has said that it is a matter of pride for all the Nepalis that the national team has climbed one more ladder towards success defeating US in the finals of the ‘division four’ tournament.
Koirala said that everyone should be inspired from the success of the Nepali team and work for raising the pride of our nation. “Sports, art and culture play a vital role towards establishing a nation in the international arena. Nepal’s win in the tournament has made us all proud. I congratulate everyone who has been associated with the team in their success,” the press statement read.
