NUWAKOT, SEP 02 -
An elderly person was killed with a sharp weapon at Deurali VDC in Nuwakot district on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Bahadur Singh Tamang, 88, a resident of Deurali VDC, Ward No. 9, according to the District Police Office.
Police suspect that three unidentified persons killed Tamang in his own house by using a sharp weapon. Tamang died on the way to the District Hospital, Trishuli.
It is said that the incident took place while his spouse had gone to a neighbouring house. Police suspect that the gang killed Tamang to loot the pension amount that he withdrew a few days ago. Tamang was former British Army personnel. RSS
