Three party talks positive: Dahal
KATHMANDU, AUG 31 -
The major political parties that have intensified parleys to end political deadlock held talks on Friday as well.
During the meeting held at CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal’s residence in Dallu this morning, the leaders decided to make attempts to settle thorny issues concerning constitution drafting and to forge consensus within three days by listing all the pending issues.
Emerging from the meeting, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said, “We have decided to hold serious discussions from today itself to forge consensus on all the contentious issues, the meeting headed positively."
The meeting also held talks on Constituent Assembly election, reviving CA, forming national consensus government, among others, sources confirmed.
Meanwhile, the next meeting has been scheduled for Saturday morning.
The three party meet ing--Maoist, Nepali Congress and UML-- was also held in the presence of President Ram Baran Yadav at his official residence in Shital Niwas on Thursday as well.
