Politics will take new course soon: Thapa
KATHMANDU, AUG 22 -
Former Prime Minister and Rastriya Janashakti Party Chairman Surya Bahadur Thapa has warned that there will be a "huge explosion in country's political sphere" if parties fail to forge consensus at the earliest.
Speaking at a programme in the Capital on Wednesday, Thapa said the country will take a "natural course" soon claiming that the country can not remain in the status quo for a long time.
When asked about the possible course, Thapa clarified that it will not be favorable to speak out for the welfare of the country and general public.
On the occassion, Thapa said the president should play active role to end the political deadlock and that he should not stay quiet.
