Lightning causes damage in FM station

JHAPA, JUL 12 -
A lightning strike coupled with heavy rain occurred Wednesday night caused heavy damage in Bhadrapur based Nagarik FM in Jhapa district.
According to Managing Director of the FM, Chinamani Dahal, transmission service has been halted as transmitter and other equipments of the station were damaged.
Many equipment including routers, computers and telephones were damaged, causing millions of loss to the FM. This is the third time that the FM station was struck by lightning in the last two years. RSS
