British Minister Duncan meets Dahal

KATHMANDU, JUN 27 -

British State Minister for International Development Alan Duncan met UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Wednesday morning.

During the meeting held at Dahal’s residence in Lazimpat, the duo held discussion on latest political scenario, British development aid, among others.

Responding to Duncan’s concern on political situation of the country, Dahal said there was no alternative to political consensus and that the political parties have been attempting for the same.

Duncan also warned that the country will have to face huge loss in getting development aids due to political instability in the country.

Duncan who arrived here in the Capital for three-day visit on Tuesday has already met Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala and CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal.
