KATHMANDU, JUN 23 -
UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Saturday suggested the Finance Minister to head with administrative process to bring full fledged budget .
He said attempts are underway to forge consensus with other political parties to bring full fledged budget .
The Maoist chief said so at the time when the 27 political parties have been claiming that the caretaker government does not have the authority to announce budget .
Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun along with Finance Secretary Krishna Hari Banskota had reached Dahal’s residence in Lazimpat this morning and requested to create an environment to bring the fiscal years budget .
During the meeting, Finance Secretary Banskota warned that the nation’s economic condition will be worsened if budget is not announced timely.
Pun has intensified discussions with the leaders of various political parties to introduce a complete budget .
The budget was last introduced through an ordinance in November 2010 when the UCPN (Maoist) barred the finance minister from presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2010-11.
