KATHMANDU, FEB 09 - Former Chairman of National Assembly Dr. Mohmmad Mohasin passed away on Wednesday.
A patient of paralysis, Mohasin breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Chhauni Hospital in the Capital. His last rites have been performed as per the Muslim tradition on Thursday.
Mohasin had served as the Minister for Information and Communication during the direct regime of then king Gyanendra Shah. He also serves as the Minister for Tourism and Agriculture during the Panchayat period.
He is survived by his wife, a son and five daughters.
