SANKHUSABHA, DEC 19 - The Sankhusabha District Court on Monday sentenced a person to 14 years in prison a minor Dalit girl.
A bench of Justice Saligram Koirala on Monday convicted one Sovhitlal Mukhiya on rape charge and handed down the sentence, according to Yognarayan Shrestha, an official at the court.
The court said the verdict was pronounced in response to the case filed by her father Saru Nepali.
On July, Mukhiya had taken a fiver-year old girl of Tumlingtar, Khandbari-13, to his own room and raped her.
