KATHMANDU, DEC 11 - An application was filed in the Supreme Court on Sunday charging the Minister for Law and Justice, Brijesh Kumar Gupta, with contempt of court .
However, the application is yet to be registered. In the application, advocate Upendra Nandan Timilsina argued that the minister's statement that judges indulge in bribery for appointments is tantamount to contempt of court . Gupta recently made such remarks at a programme of Nepal Bar Association.
