State-of-the-art Bajaj showroom opens in Jomsom
KATHMANDU, NOV 11 -
HH Bajaj, authorised distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, has taken a step upward by opening a showroom and service centre in Jomsom, a popular tourist destination 2,800 m high in the Himalaya.
The new outlet named Mustang Automobiles was jointly inaugurated on Thursday by Shekhar Golchha, executive director of HH Bajaj, and Sanjay Saraswat, general manager, Bajaj Auto India. “The two-wheeler market has been gradually shifting to rural areas. Therefore, we have opened the showroom in Jomsom with the aim of fulfilling growing demand for two-wheelers here,” Golchha said. He added that entrepreneurs and petty traders who used to travel by horse and mule were moving towards the convenient machine which has made them confident about the showroom’s performance.
Thanking HH Bajaj for its endeavour to promote the two-wheeler in the Nepali market, Saraswat said, “It gives me immense pleasure to see that our customers are being provided with the international standard of Bajaj service even in such a remote, rough and tough terrain like Jomsom.”
The Bajaj showroom in Jomsom, according to Golchha, has been designed to the same standards of any Bajaj showroom in Kathmandu. HH Bajaj has invested around Rs 1.7 million in the state-of-the-art showroom. Besides the showroom, there is a service centre stocked with spare parts. “This will add value to customers,” Golchha said, adding that the service station would provide service and spare parts at the same price range as in Kathmandu and other parts of the country. Along with the latest sophisticated technology, the service centre, according to HH Bajaj, will provide quality service through its experienced and skilled manpower.
The service centre has a separate luxurious customer lounge from where customers can observe the entire servicing and maintenance process of their motorbike.
Bajaj is one the most sought after two-wheeler brands in the domestic market. The company claims to be the number one motorcycle brand at present. HH Bajaj’s expansion drive does not end here. The company plans to open outlets in other rural markets which are connected by roads. “We aim to provide quality service wherever there is road access.
We are determined to give quality service to all our customers in every nook and corner of Nepal, and we aim to expand our services further in remote places and difficult terrain in the coming days,” Golchha said.
