VP Jha calls on ailing Koirala

Feb 09 - Vice President Paramananda Jha, who was reactivated after a fresh oath in Maithili and Nepali languages, called on Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala on Tuesday to inquire about latter's health condition.

"The visit was just to inquire about Girijababu's health," said vice president's son Krishna Jha.

"It had been long since he (Jha) had not met Girijababu, whose health condition was not good for the last few days."

However, sources close to Koirala said Jha also urged NC president to include Madhesi parties in the Koirala-led High Level Political Mechanism.
