Jamim Shah murder: Four police personnel suspended
Four police personnel have been suspended for their carelessness in security while they were on duty when media entrepreneur and Chairman of Channel Nepal Jamim Shah was murdered in Lazimpat on Sunday.
Organising a press conference in the capital on Tuesday, Chief of the Metropolitan Police Range SP Ganesh K.C. said ASI Lokendra Pandit, head constable Tul Bahadur Adhikari, and constables Duryodhan Yadav and Anil Rai have been suspended.
SP K.C. said they were suspended as they failed to carry out their responsibility.
Two masked men in black outfit on a Yamaha Crux motorcycle had opened indiscriminate fire at Shah's Pajero jeep (Ba 1 Cha 2151), killing Shah and injuring his driver in broad daylight in front of the French Embassy in Lazimpat, Kathmandu on Sunday.
