Two dead as truck plummets into Trishuli

DHADING, Feb 08 - Two persons died when a truck fell into the Trishuli river near Bange of Pida VDC-2 in Dhanding on Monday.
The deceased are identified as assistant driver of the truck Mukesh Mahato, 20, and Hakim Miyan, 50, of Bara, said the Gajuri Area Police Office. Though it is said five persons including driver were traveling in the truck, condition of others is still unknown. The truck with the registration number Na. 4 Kha 2163 was heading towards Kathmandu from Narayangadh.
Police have started an investigation into the accident and a rescue operation reaching the accident site.
The ill-fated vehicle has partially been seen in the river.
