PM calls on Prez Yadav
KATHMANDU, Feb 08 - Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal called on President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav at the latter's official residence in Sheetal Niwas on Monday.
The meeting dwelt on the contemporary issues, PM's press advisor Bishnu Rijal said.
During the meeting, PM Nepal appraised the president about the decisions made by today's cabinet meeting.
Earlier today, the cabinet had decided to agree on the pacts likely to be signed during President’s upcoming India visit.
Nepal and India are likely to sign a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will link Nepal to India’s railway network during President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav’s India visit beginning Feb. 15.
