Four killed in separate road mishaps
Two people have been killed and other four injured in a road accident at Dhundhune of Dadelhura along the Bhimdutta Highway on Saturday morning.
The jeep (Se 1 Ja 206) heading for Khalanga bazaar from Wadkhana bazaar of Dadeldhura and the bus (Na 2 Kha 1298) heading for Mahendranagar from Baitadi collided this morning.
The deceased have been identified as jeep driver Tek Bahadur Iyer of Amargadi-1 and Chandra Devi Iyer.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the local hospital, the police informed.
Likewise, a minor was killed after a tractor hit him in Kathar VDC-1 of Chitwan district on Friday.
One Akash Chaudhary, 9, son of Shyam Chaudhary died while undergoing treatment in medical college, Bharatpur, said area police office, Khairahani. The accident had occurred after the boy fell down from the farm ploughing tractor. Police have impounded the driver and the tractor.
Likewise, a motorcyclist died in a hearse and a motorcycle collision in Anbukhairani of Tanahun district last night. The deceased has been identified as Kumar Khatiwada, 22, of Dadhing district. Seriously injured Khatiwada died while undergoing treatment at the Bharatpur Medical College, said district police office, Tanahun.
Seriously injured pillion rider Bishnu Ale is being treated in the same hospital.
The hearse (Na 1 Ka 2086) was on its way to Gorkha from the capital and the motorcycle (Ga 1 Kha 9273) was heading towards Anbukhairani from Gorkha.
