Three killed in separate accidents
At least three persons were killed in separate incidents in different parts of the country on Tuesday.
A person died on the spot and 10 others injured when a microbus met with an accident at Maldhunga of Parbat district. The vehicle was heading to Baglung from Kushma of Parbat.
The deceased has been identified as Pradip Sharma of Bajung VDC-6, according to the police.
Similarly, a seven- year-old boy died while receiving treatment at the BP Koirala Health Science Foundation, Dharan, after being injured when a motorcycle hit him in Amarhat of Sunsari district. The motorcycle was heading to Dharan from Bhedetar of Dhankuta district. Police have taken under control motorcyclist Shailendra Karki.
Likewise, a minor has been killed in a road accident at Jitpur in Birgunj-Pathalaiya road stretch this morning.
One Puja Sahani, 7, of Jitpur-3 died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Birgunj. She was hit by a tractor (Na 3 Kha 4365).
Meanwhile, investigation to the accident is underway, police said.
