Two more die after consuming tainted booze
BARA, Nov 21 - Two more people died on Saturday morning after drinking tainted booze in Bara district.
The deceased have been identified as Krishna Yadav of Telkuwa VDC-5, Bara and Harindra Yadav, police informed.
Among the deceased, Harindra died while undergoing treatment in Raxaul on Friday night after consuming alcohol from the shop of local Nemi Sah during the Gadhimai festival.
Other affected by the booze are also undergoing treatment in Raxaul.
Also yesterday, two youths died after drinking tainted booze.
The duo, Chote Lal Sah, resident of Bariyapur-2 VDC, and Lallu Mahato Sah, resident of Motihari, India were found dead on Friday morning.
Though the local administration has prohibited the sell of alcohol during the Gadhimai festival, its sale and consumption has gone unabated in the district with the arrival of Gadhimai festival.
