Nepali Congress Acting President Sushil Koirala Saturday said that no agreement has been made between UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala on the issue of toppling the present government in Singapore.

Speaking at a press meet organised by the Press Union in Bharatpur, Chitwan, Koirala clarified that the NC does not want instability in the government.

He said the present government will draft the new constitution and will take peace process to a logical conclusion.

Koirala ruled out the possibility of the formation of the new government under the Maoist leadership.

He said the party President and the Maoist chairman has been continuing phase wise meetings after the Maoist left the government and that Dahal's visit to Singapore is just continuity for the same.

Mentioning that the party will never accept the resolution motion against the President's move in the parliament, Koirala opined that there should be no change in the interim constitution.
