Windows 7 launched in Kathmandu
Kathmandu, Nov 20 - The newest version of Microsoft Windows, Windows 7, was launched at the Kathmandu College of Management, Gwarko, at a function organised by the college's Bachelor in Business Information System (BBIS) students.
The function was inaugurated by Microsoft Country Manager Allen Tuladhar. Tuladhar also presented a paper on the topic 'Microsoft Multi-Point Challenge'. “We are providing Microsoft software products to Nepali students free of cost” added Tuladhar.
Windows 7 is the most recent version of Microsoft Windows, a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft. The programme was released by manufacturers on July 22 and was available to retailers on Oct. 22, less than three years after the release of its predecessor, Windows Vista.
