Two die after consuming moonshine
BARA, Nov 20 - Two youths died after drinking tainted booze in Bara district on Friday.
The duo, who had come to Bara district to observe the upcoming Gadhimai festival, were found dead on Friday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Chote Lal Sah, resident of Bariyapur-2 VDC, and Lallu Mahato Sah, resident of Motihari, India.
They died while undergoing treatment at local Kalaiya Hospital and National Medical College in Birgunj.
Police said that the duo was killed after consuming moonshine.
Though the local administration has prohibited the sell of moonshine during the Gadhimai festival, its sale and consumption has gone unabated in the district with the arrival of Gadhimai festival.
