End impasse: Prez
Kathmandu, Nov 20 - President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has urged political leaders to break the prevailing political deadlock as early as possible.
Inaugurating the eighth Asian Spinal Cord Network Conference (ASCON) on Friday, President Yadav said political consensus was a must for timely drafting of the constitution and lasting peace.
"Constitution may not be drafted on schedule unless political parties forge a consensus," said the president.Over 200 experts from 18 Asian countries have gathered in the Capital for the three-day ASCON organised by Spinal Cord Network in collaboration with International Spinal Cord Society to share knowledge, ideas and expertise on rehabilitation of persons living with spinal injury in Nepal and across Asia.
