Oli challenges Maoists to form govt through majority
KATHMANDU, NOV 19 - Senior UML leader KP Sharma Oli remarked Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s assertion that the current government would fall soon was meaningless.
Oli challenged the Maoists to form the government by showing a majority in the parliament. He claimed that the current UML-led government would dissolve only after promulgating the new constitution and holding the general election.
Speaking to mediapersons at the Tirbhuvan International Airport (TIA) before leaving for Delhi to participate in the 11th Communist and Workers Parties' International Conference, the UML leader remarked that the many “false statements“ by Maoists leaders were the result of their attitude of being more excited.
Upon his arrival at the TIA Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal had claimed that the current government would fall soon.
