Swine flu suspects test negative, confirms EDCD
KAVRE, Nov 19 - The Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD) on Thursday confirmed that students of Adarsa High School of Kavre who were suspected of swine flu tested negative and said that the cause of the illness was food poisoning instead.
The test was conducted after a 10th grader Deepa Shrestha, 17, died on her way back home after 6-day long educational tour at Dasdhunga in Narayangadh-Mugling road stretch.
One of the teachers said that the students had taken foods that were washed in dirty water in Koshi Barrage.
All the students have high fever, said the hospital source.
